I planted lots of Red Bee Balm several years ago in my flower garden simply because I liked the red flowers.  I like the fragrance, the red color and how the flower reminds me of a bad hair day!

I had no idea that hummingbirds are attracted to the color red!  These flowers seem to be a magnet for Hummingbirds.  They come back every year to feed at these bright red flowers.  Catching them in flight with a long lens is quite a challenge but they keep providing me with ample opportunities and I keep trying.
