Juvenile Black-Crowned Night Heron in flight at sunset

I captured this Juvenile Black-Crowned Night Heron in flight at sunset in Florida. The Juvenile looks so distinct from its parents, the Black-Crowned Night heron, that it looks like a unique type of bird! They typically hunt at night and roost in trees during the day. The Juvenile learns to fly around six weeks old and transforms into their adult outfit around three years old.
