The Grasshopper Sparrow eats grasshoppers in the summer! I photographed this Grasshopper Sparrow with a grasshopper in its beak in July at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. I spent hours trying to identify this handsome little Sparrow, although it is displaying a huge suggestion in its beak!
