Vermilion Flycatcher

While recently in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas, I met a man who excitedly told me he had seen a Vermilion Flycatcher at a nearby historic chapel. These spectacularly brilliant birds are uncommon but I went to the chapel  he described and there it was!  It was a cold rainy day, but the  color of this little guy brightened the day.
